Cristiano Ronaldo has announced his retirement from international football, ending his career with Portugal. Reports say he made the announcement in a video, saying: "Portugal will always be in my heart."
He made 234 appearances for his country and scored 146 goals, more than any other men's player at international level, according to The Athletic.
