What FootVal is

FootVal is an independent football data service. It shows player, club, league and national-team information, live scores and statistics, transfer news, and its own estimated transfer values produced by an explainable model. FootVal's values are estimates for information and entertainment. They are not offers, appraisals or financial, betting or professional advice, and you should not rely on them for financial decisions.

Accounts and AI assistant connections

You can browse FootVal without an account. Connecting FootVal to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT requires signing in, normally with Google; a few accounts we set up ourselves (for example for app-directory reviewers) sign in with an e-mail and password instead. You must be at least 13 years old to sign in. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping any API key you create private. You can disconnect an assistant or revoke a key at any time on footval.com/mcp.

Fair use

Each account includes an allowance of tool calls, shown on footval.com/mcp. Please don't try to get around the allowance or our security, share your credentials, access FootVal by automated means other than the connection and API keys we provide, copy FootVal's data in bulk, or resell or republish it as your own. We may limit or suspend access that breaks these rules or puts the service at risk.

Using FootVal through an AI assistant

When you use FootVal inside an AI assistant, the assistant decides when to call FootVal and writes its own answer from the data we return. The assistant provider's terms and privacy policy apply to that use as well. FootVal receives only the requests the assistant sends to its tools, never your conversation. Assistants can misread or misquote data, so check footval.com when a number matters to you.

Content and intellectual property

FootVal's valuations, texts, design and software belong to FootVal. Player, club and competition names, crests, photos and match data belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify the people and teams they describe; their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them. You may share individual FootVal values or links with attribution to FootVal.

Availability and changes

We work to keep FootVal accurate and available, but it is provided as is and as available. Data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and features, coverage and allowances may change or be discontinued. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use FootVal after a change means you accept it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, FootVal gives no warranties about the service and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the basis of its data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending your use

You can stop using FootVal at any time. To have your account and its connection and usage records deleted, write to us from the account's e-mail address. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
