Zidane recalls Tchouaméni and Thuram, calls up Pablo Pagis

France's 23-man squad for Nations League games against Italy on 12 November and Turkey on 15 November, both at 20:45.

Zinédine Zidane has named a 23-man France squad for the Nations League matches against Italy on 12 November and Turkey on 15 November.

The surprise is Paris FC attacking midfielder Pablo Pagis, 23, who is in the squad for the first time. He joined Paris FC this summer after a spell at Lorient. He is the son of former striker Mickaël Pagis, and RMC Sport notes he is the first Paris FC player called up to the national team since 1973.

Aurélien Tchouaméni returns to the squad, and Real Madrid's Ibrahima Konaté is also called up. Marcus Thuram rejoins the group.

FootVal's valuation puts Pagis at €22.6m, against his market value of €20m on Transfermarkt. This season he has played nine games, scoring twice and providing one assist, with an average rating of 7.04. His contract with Paris FC runs until June 2031.
