Okafor goal gives Leeds 1-0 win over Tottenham

Mathys Tel went off injured after Jayden Bogle avoided a red card for a first-half challenge, and De Zerbi criticised the officials.

Noah Okafor scored in the 79th minute as Leeds United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at Elland Road on Saturday. The win lifts Leeds to eighth in the Premier League with 14 points from 10 games. Tottenham, who had won their previous three league matches, drop to 10th on 12 points.

The match was overshadowed by a first-half challenge by Leeds right-back Jayden Bogle on Mathys Tel. Reports say Bogle planted his foot on the back of Tel's ankle. After a VAR review, the referee did not show a red card, and Tel was substituted with an injury.

Roberto De Zerbi criticised the officials, according to ESPN. Daniel Farke defended Bogle, whom he called his 'butterfly'.
