Bayern Munich have extended the contract of Harry Kane, kicker reports from a press conference at which Jan-Christian Dreesen discussed the deal.

Dreesen also spoke about what the striker's Ballon d'Or triumph could mean for the club's sponsors, kicker adds.

According to L'Équipe, Tottenham would keep the right to match any offer for Kane from a rival of the London club. Sport Bild reports rumours of a Tottenham clause in Kane's contract.

Bayern's next match is the Bundesliga trip to FSV Mainz 05 on Saturday, 7 November.
