Martin Ødegaard scored in the 72nd minute as Arsenal beat Hull City 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday in the 10th round of the Premier League. The win lifts Arsenal to 27 points from 10 games at the top of the table.

Hull, who are 13th with 11 points, held out for most of the match and still had hopes of an upset with 20 minutes left, The Guardian reports. Arsenal had a penalty appeal turned down just before half-time for a shirt pull.

Sky Sports reports that the result puts Arsenal six points clear of Manchester City. Kicker notes it was Arsenal's fifth win from five home games this season, while Sportschau says Ødegaard rescued a day that had gone badly for Kai Havertz and the VAR.
