FIFA has reduced the suspension imposed on Argentina right-back Nahuel Molina, who plays for AS Roma, over incidents in the World Cup final. The ban falls from seven matches to four, and the fine has also been lowered.

The appeal lodged by the Argentine federation, the AFA, was partly accepted. Reports say Molina had punched Rodri of Barcelona during the final.

Leandro Paredes of CA Boca Juniors gets no reduction. He remains out for ten matches, and the sanctions against the Argentine federation also stand.
