AC Milan coach Ruben Amorim confronted his players in the dressing room after the 2-0 home defeat to Ferencváros in the Europa League on Thursday. Lenny Joseph scored both goals for the Hungarian side, in the 52nd and 66th minutes, and Bamidele Isa Yusuf was sent off for Ferencváros in the 77th.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Amorim called the performance unacceptable and said his side was not ready to play football, while admitting he may have been wrong too. Tuttosport describes a face-to-face meeting in the dressing room involving owner Cardinale, who is shaken by the defeat and wants answers.

Milan are 28th in the Europa League table with three points from four matches. Tuttosport reports that the club will need reinforcements in January. The next match is a Serie A trip to Genoa on Sunday.
