Bayern Munich have announced that Harry Kane has extended his contract until 2029. The England striker, who won the Ballon d'Or, stays with the German record champions.

Sportschau reports that the extension is for two years. Sport Bild reports that Kane has given his reasons for signing the new deal.

TuttoMercatoWeb reports that the new deal almost doubles his salary, from €14m to €25m. Evening Standard calls the contract record-breaking and compares it with the pay of Europe's other top players.

FootVal's valuation of Kane is €40m, a third below his market value of €60m on Transfermarkt. This season he has 8 appearances for Bayern, with 4 goals and 6 assists in FootVal's records. Bayern's next match is away at Mainz 05 on Saturday, 7 November.
