Daichi Kamada scored in the first minute of added time to earn Crystal Palace a 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim in their Europa League league-stage match at Selhurst Park on Thursday.
Alexander Prass put Hoffenheim ahead in the seventh minute, with a low shot that goalkeeper Dean Henderson should have stopped, according to The Sun. Palace were reduced to ten men when Adam Wharton was sent off in the 77th minute.
Hoffenheim still held the lead as the match entered added time. A goalmouth scramble was not cleared, and Kamada fired under the keeper, according to The Guardian and Sky Sports.
The point leaves Palace 18th in the Europa League table with five points from four games, and Hoffenheim 20th with four. Hoffenheim host Schalke in the Bundesliga on Sunday, 8 November, and Palace host Liverpool in the Premier League the same day.
