West Ham sack head coach Nuno Espírito Santo
The decision follows back-to-back league defeats that left the Championship side eighth, after last season's relegation from the Premier League.
FootVal Newsroom
West Ham United have sacked head coach Nuno Espírito Santo, the club announced on Tuesday, after a poor start to the Championship season. The Hammers lost back-to-back matches and now sit eighth in the table.
Pressure had been building for days. The Guardian and Record had already reported that his position was under threat, with the club intent on an instant return to the Premier League after Nuno failed to keep them up last season.
Mundo Deportivo reports that he had been in charge since September 2025. The club's relegation from the Premier League came at the end of that campaign.
kicker reports that Parker is expected to take over as head coach.
