Sunderland tie Brian Brobbey down to a deal until 2031
The Dutch striker, who joined from Ajax in 2025, had a contract running until June 2029.

Sunderland have officially extended the contract of Brian Brobbey until 2031, Foot Mercato reports. The previous deal ran until June 2029.
The 24-year-old centre-forward joined from Ajax Amsterdam in the summer of 2025. Transfermarkt says his market value has more than doubled since his move.
FootVal's data shows Brobbey has scored three goals in seven appearances this season, with an average rating of 6.97. FootVal's valuation of €49m sits just below his market value of €50m on Transfermarkt.
