Cristiano Ronaldo scored the 67th hat-trick of his career as Al-Nassr beat Al Kholood 5-3 in the Saudi Pro League, leaving him 16 goals short of the 1,000-career-goal landmark. Joao Felix assisted two of the goals and Sadio Mane the third, according to Sky Sports.
The result added fresh momentum to the milestone chase, though an exact current tally remains contested: some sources put Ronaldo on 984 before the match, others on 985, as RMC Sport reported. All three goals arrived in a 15-minute second-half spell.
The wider context around Al-Nassr shifted with a separate revelation on Friday. Gerry Cardinale, the American owner of AC Milan and head of investment firm RedBird Capital Partners, told La Gazzetta dello Sport that RedBird is exploring the possibility of acquiring the Saudi club, and said he is intrigued by Ronaldo's presence there, according to Football Italia and ESPN.
Ronaldo, who turns 42 in February, has scored eight goals in ten appearances for Al-Nassr in the 2026/27 season, according to FootVal data. His contract at the club runs until June 2027.
