Porro acknowledges Real Madrid and Barcelona interest but says no offer has arrived

The Tottenham right-back, who signed a new contract until 2031 in the summer, says he intends to see it out.

Pedro Porro has admitted that Real Madrid and Barcelona have shown an interest in signing him but stressed that neither club has made a formal approach. Speaking on El Larguero on Cadena SER, the 27-year-old Spain international said: "Nobody has told me they want me."

Spanish reports had suggested both clubs were keen to bring the 2026 World Cup winner back to LaLiga, following the return of fellow champion Rodri. Porro played down those suggestions, adding that he feels it would be unfair on Tottenham to discuss a hypothetical move while he is contracted to the club.

Porro only renewed his deal at Spurs in the summer, committing until June 2031. He confirmed he had received offers to leave before the World Cup but chose to stay. FootVal's valuation of the right-back stands at €46m, marginally above his Transfermarkt market value of €45m.

With the January transfer window approaching, Tottenham are unlikely to entertain any enquiry for a player they just tied down on a long-term deal. Porro has made four appearances in the 2026-27 season so far.
