Rafael Leão scored his first goal for Galatasaray in a comfortable 4-0 away win over Konyaspor, converting a penalty to wrap up the scoring. Russian midfielder Aleksey Batrakov also opened his league account in the same match.

Victor Osimhen opened the scoring, continuing a rich vein of form that has seen him net in each of his last three matches — including a double in the derby win over Fenerbahçe and a goal against Lille. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, it was Leão who won the penalty and Osimhen who allowed his team-mate to take it.

The result gives Galatasaray four consecutive wins across the Süper Lig and the Champions League, underlining Okan Buruk's side's strong start to the season. Speaking after the match, Leão said the derby against Fenerbahçe had given him confidence, according to Hürriyet.

FootVal's valuation of Leão stands at €39m, marginally below his Transfermarkt market value of €40m. The Portuguese winger, contracted at the club until June 2030, had registered seven appearances without a goal before Saturday's match.
