Como striker Moise Kean has been ruled out for approximately five weeks after the club confirmed he received specialist treatment in Barcelona for a shin problem that has been troubling him for some time. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the procedure took place in Barcelona.
The absence means Kean will miss not only fixtures for Como in Serie A but also Italy's upcoming international commitments, leaving manager Roberto Mancini without one of his key attacking options.
Kean, 26, has managed only four appearances for Como in the 2026/27 season without scoring, contributing one assist. FootVal's valuation of the striker stands at €28m, slightly below his Transfermarkt market value of €32m. His contract with the club runs until June 2027.
Como already have several other attacking players sidelined, with Diao, Liberali, Jesus Rodriguez and Addai all previously reported as unavailable, putting further strain on manager Cesc Fàbregas's options in the final third.
