Antoine Griezmann scored his 14th MLS goal since joining Orlando City in July, curling the ball into the top corner, but Orlando were unable to hold on as Chicago Fire twice equalised to earn a 2-2 draw.
It was the fifth successive game in which Griezmann has found the net, underlining the form he has shown since arriving in the United States. According to FootVal's valuation, the 35-year-old is worth €5.7m, slightly below his Transfermarkt market value of €8m. He has contributed 13 goals and six assists in 15 appearances this season.
Robert Lewandowski, his counterpart at Chicago Fire, could not find the net on this occasion. The 38-year-old has six goals in 16 MLS appearances in 2026/27.
Elsewhere on a busy midweek night in MLS, Charlotte FC and Philadelphia Union secured their places in the playoffs. Orlando, meanwhile, surrendered a two-goal lead before the draw was confirmed.
