Reports say the deal runs for 1.5 years, after talks with Sergio Conceição broke down over his demands.

Fenerbahçe have reportedly signed Emre Belözoğlu as their head coach on a contract of one and a half years, according to Hürriyet. TRT Spor and Habertürk report that the club had agreed terms with him. The move ends the search that followed the departure of İsmail Kartal.
The club had earlier reached an agreement in principle with Sergio Conceição. According to Habertürk, the Portuguese coach later changed his contract terms and raised his salary demands, and Fenerbahçe turned back to a Turkish coach. TuttoMercatoWeb reports that his demands were seen as excessive, while Record points to the club's instability as a factor.
Kasımpaşa announced that it had parted ways with Belözoğlu, thanking him and wishing him success in the next stage of his career.
The next match for Fenerbahçe is the Champions League game against Liverpool at Chobani Stadium on Wednesday, 4 November.
