FootVal Newsroom

Conmebol has refused to validate the coaching licence of Clarence Seedorf, the Dutch former player whom Corinthians hired as coach. According to ge, the South American body rejected his UEFA Pro licence, the highest level in Europe, because he does not have the three years, or 36 months, of coaching experience it requires.
Maisfutebol reports that Seedorf has 27 months of experience as a coach. Record says he meets the UEFA Pro level but fails one specific criterion.
Corinthians will ask Conmebol to reconsider. According to ge, the club is confident it can keep working with the coach.
