Beşiktaş preparing €10m January bid for Newcastle's Joe Willock

Beşiktaş are ready to make a €10m offer for Newcastle United midfielder Joe Willock in the January transfer window, according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb and several Turkish media reports.
The Turkish side attempted to sign Willock during the summer transfer window but were put off by Newcastle's asking price. With his contract running until June 2027, Beşiktaş see the coming window as a renewed opportunity to secure the England international.
Willock has made eight appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring twice and averaging a rating of 6.81. Newcastle's squad is valued at €680m by FootVal, while FootVal's valuation of Willock himself stands at €15.4m — below his €18m Transfermarkt market value — suggesting Beşiktaş's reported offer would represent a discount on the player's estimated worth.
Beşiktaş, whose squad is valued at €273m by FootVal, are pushing for the Süper Lig title and hope to bolster their midfield in January to sustain that challenge.
