Bayern Munich were left sweating over the fitness of three players after a 2-2 draw at home to Borussia Dortmund in the eighth round of the Bundesliga. Michael Olise, Serge Gnabry and Ismael Saibari all left the pitch with injuries during the match.
Olise, who appeared to hurt his right leg, is the most pressing concern ahead of an imminent France international window, according to L'Équipe and RMC Sport. Foot Mercato reports that Bayern sporting director Max Eberl described himself as very worried about Saibari and Gnabry, while sounding more reassuring about Olise.
The timing is particularly sensitive for Olise. The 24-year-old right winger has been in outstanding form this season, registering six goals and three assists in seven appearances for Bayern with a FootVal's valuation of €196m. His contract runs until June 2029.
Bayern and the French national team staff will now monitor his condition closely before the international window squad is finalised.
